La violenza che è esplosa a Londra ha ora raggiunto Birmingham. In molte parti della capitale gruppi di giovani si stanno scontrando con la polizia, edifici ed auto sono ancora in fiamme. Nel quartiere di Hackney, Londra Est, dozzine di giovani hano attaccato Lunedì negozi e vetrate e tempestato la polizia con petardi pezzi di legno ed altri oggetti.
Gli socntri si susseguono senza sosta dopo che lo scorso weekend un uomo è stato ucciso dalla polizia.

In several parts of the capital, groups of youths are clashing with police, buildings and cars are again ablaze. In Hackney, East London, dozens of youths attacked shops and windows on Monday and pelted riot police with fireworks, pieces of wood and other objects. It follows unrest over the weekend after a man was shot dead by police.
